How to handle illegal interview questions?

In previous interview, I was asked some illegal interview questions, I think. Are you US citizen? Have you boyfriend? When do you marry?...I'm confused. I've never these questions. Although I prepared for my interview, it's not good as I hope. I want to be asked questions relating to my job, not my personal life.
Have you ever asked the questions like this? How do you handle illegal interview questions?

Well, to have a really employment's interview, questions shouldn't involve deep personal questions like you mentioned "Ella". It is ok to be asked about marital status, and that is all...nothing further. I am not sure if there is any job goes that deep about personal life (Boyfriend and girfriend ...etc) Perhaps governmental jobs may require some personal information about the person, but if it is regular job it shouldn't
It sounds that the interviewer is not professional asking such questions, and to avoid them, you can the person to pass on these questions, or to politely ask " is it necessary to answer this question"?

    Good luck
